I did not know this: on May 17, 2018, 75 years after the plane finished it's 25th mission, the actual plane was put on display at the Air Force Museum in Dayton, Ohio.
I first heard about the Memphis Belle, and saw the famous documentary on that plane, at that very museum when I was a child!
